Iron Cross Second Class award document dated June 26, 1944. It has the stamped signature of Generalleutnant Richard Heidrich, division commander. This award is attributable to the fighting at Monte Cassino weeks earlier.
Iron Cross First Class award document dated January 5, 1945 and hand signed by Oberst Karl-Lothar Schulz as Division-Führer. This award is attributable to the tough fighting in the Apennine Mountains in Italy.
